I spent $135 on an electric toothbrush

Sonicare Toothbrush Yes, I spent $135 ($120+tx) on a Philips Sonicare toothbrush which is said to be the best electric toothbrush in the world. It has been recommended by my dental hygienist at least twice. I think that I paid for the dentist’s vacations for a year (I visit too often).

The Sonicare toothbrush is supposed to make your gum healthier, reach the pockets better, remove plaque better and make your teeth whiter. The model I bought has a 2-min. timer. You’re supposed to brush your teeth in four sections and in 30-second intervals. Other models beep every 30 seconds to let you know to change sections. For me, I just look at the clock. Same result. The Oral-B electric toothbrush is nothing compared to Sonicare.

So, instead of buying the overpriced, low-bandwidth (no-3G) iPhone, you can better spend your money on the Sonicare toothbrush.
