Jack is back from Hell

It’s great to see that Jack is back. He has been imprisoned by the Chinese government for the past 20 months before the new US president paid a large price for his release. However, the US government has greater plan for him. The US government must give US$25m and Jack’s life in exchange for the location of a known terrorist who has been attacking US cities for the past three weeks. There were quite some twists in the first few episodes as we would expect. We will see if Jack will be always the savior or if he is only a human after all. I’m glad also to see Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar, Van Wilder) play a more dramatic role. There will be a 4-hour premiere on 2 nights: Sunday 14th and Monday 15th on Fox.

So, you’ve seen the first four episodes?

According to what I’ve read and seen in the prequel, the whole sixth season will be somewhat different from the previous five. Quoting Kiefer Sutherland: “It’s more about Jack saving his own ass than saving America this time”.

Rumours are that Glenn Morshower (playing Secret Service agent Aaron Pierce) is to have a more prominent role in the coming season.
